My partner and I are huge fans of beef tartare. We haven’t been to The Cook’s Shop in a while and found out they have beef tartare on their menu! We decided to go check it out! We ordered the beef tartare, angus beef scaloppine piccata with risotto and angus beef ribeye steak with mash potatoes. The beef tartare was the bomb dot com. It was amazing and we felt like we were in beef tartare heaven! Such a generous portion too! We’ve been to numerous places in the last few months trying beef tartare from different restaurants. This place had the best beef tartare we’ve ever had! This blows the beef tartare that we had in Montreal out of the water. It has a nice tangy acidic flavour and it comes with toasted bread. The smokiness from the bread was a really nice addition to the flavour. I got the angus beef scaloppine piccata sautéed with butter, lemon and mushrooms which was cooked to perfection.
